Red Alert

 HR 7910 will

*** Make it a crime to buy an AR-15 or similar gun until you’re 21

*** Ban the sale of all magazines that hold over 10 rounds

*** Force gun owners to register all homemade (80% lower-style) firearms

*** Treat bump stocks like a machine gun, subject to the NFA Act

(I got this from the American Firearms Association's Take Action page at

H.R. 7910 IS TYRANNY – FIGHT BACK! (americanfirearmsassociation.org)

Go there now and send your congress person an email asking them to vote 'no' on this bill.

The main thing that bothers me is the mandate that persons with children have to lock up their guns 24/7, so that children won't be able to get them.

Aren't children curious? Don't they want to find out about stuff? If you don't tell them about guns, they will never know how dangerous they are.  My father had rifles shored away in a glass-fronted gun cabinet in the main hallway of our home. We walked past them every time we left the bedroom to go into the kitchen, living room or outside. Every time. My dad told us they were dangerous and not to touch them. We believed him. He taught us to respect them.

To this day, I still do.

Instead of hiding your guns away from your curious child, let them handle them safely. Talk to them about them. Show respect.

If you don't believe this, I hope no criminal breaks into your home because you might not have time to unlock your safe, extract the gun, and load your weapon.

How safe will your child be than?

Oh, and don't forget to send the email to your congress person.

Vote Yes on Issue 1, Ohio.

Two reasons we need to vote 'yes' on Issue 1. It'll make it harder for non-Ohioans to decide what is in the Ohio Constitution. It'll give all 88 counties the right to decide what's in the Constitution, instead of only 44. And it will make it where 60% plus one of votes are needed to change the Ohio Constitution. (Are you aware that leftist donors from California, New York, and other blue states are behind the Vote no campaign? Doesn't that bother you? That alone should get you thinking.) And second, in November there is an abortion amendment on the ballot. A vaguely worded amendment that can mean anything. If that amendment gets in our Constitution, it will take away all the pro-life protections for the pre-born on the books now. Also, it will take away parental rights.  Here is a copy of the new language wanted in Article 1, Section 22.  Who can be against this?  Maybe the same people who think it's okay to murder a baby. Or people who think parents are domestic terrorist because they don't want groomers messing with children.

Ohioans need to be aware...
